This unusual teapot originates from the Isle of Man. It is executed in a heavy clay body and decorated with majolica glazes. The form is of a sailor sitting on a coil of rope with two legs down and a third in an amazing acrobatic feat forming the teapot spout behind him. He holds a Union Jack which forms the teapot handle.
