This fantastic rolling pin is stoneware with brown stripes on a white base. It reads Use Hyslop's Blended Bread Flour for perfect baking. Ovid Roller Mills. Ovid, Michigan. The handles are wood with a thin overlay over the wood handle which goes through the pin body. One handle shows quite some wear. There is one 1/4" chip on one end of the pin body. Peach flower design. There is a crack where the handle meets the body of the pitcher which appears to have happened in the firing process. A hairline extends from the crack to the edge of the opening in the pitcher. This too appears to have hapenened in the firing as the edges are smooth with glaze and not raw. Some crazing.
