Produced by Roseville in the 1920's and unsigned as were most Roseville pieces of that era, the piece is marked in red crayon pencil 479 on the bottom. The vase is glazed in mottled olive greens with flows of crystaline turquoise and features an embossed geometric design of squares around the collared rim. It stands about 8 3/8" tall and is 4 1/2" in diameter at the mouth. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. A remarkable piece that would fit well into an Arts and Crafts decor.
