Designed in 1934 by W. J. Campbell this deco smoking stand/cocktail table was used in chrome and aluminum on the lounges of the 20th. century limited.The stand has it's original Climax decal and the removable tray has remnants of the same decal. The cocktail tray is removable and revolves. The ashtray has wide slots for cigars and a matchholder. The original finish shows quite a bit of wear. This interesting card shows the zeppelin over a German town with it's route superimposed on the photo. The Graf Zeppelin shows on the ship's side. The route Los Angeles to Lakhurst to Friedrichshafen to Tokio shows as a line on the superimposed map.
