New York, Sam'l Gabriel Sons & Co., 1940. Charming little picture book on durable "Linenette" paper. I have seven in this series of children's picture books. They may be purchased separately or as a lot for $60.00. This one is in good condition with minimal soiling. Those of us who grew up in the forties will remember with fondness this type of innocent picture book.

Compiled by Eber Levi Munson, it appears to be privately printed in the early 1900's. Contains interesting commentary on relatives service in indian wars, Civil war, and homesteading in Michigan and Ohio.

This is Volume I only and covers the early history of Lenawee County with the addition of a new every-name index which includes the names of all persons mentioned in the text in addition to the names of businesses, historic events and other listings. Bound in red cloth, very clean.

Ben Truman. Philadelphia, Standard Publishing Co., 1893. 610 pp. Extensive text and photo coverage of all aspects of the Columbian Exposition. Blue cloth pictorial is soiled and scuffed at top and bottom of spine, and bumped on corners. Front hinge is torn but on the whole book is still fairly tight and solid.
