Three perky bakelite birds sit atop a wooden branch in this vintage 1940's brooch. Their tails are loops of plastic coated string. This same pin is featured in the 2002 edition of Warman's Jewelry Identification and Price Guide (pg. 152) with a price of $1,375. Warman's attributes the brooch to Martha Sleeper, a hard to find designer. It measures 4" by 2". The birds are screwed onto the wooden branch from behind. A delightful piece for the advanced collector.

This sterling charm bracelet is so chock full of charms, I think one more might break the camel's back. The bracelet weighs about 155-160 grams. It holds 45 charms most of which (31) are marked sterling. There is also one coin in a coin ring, 1 marked pewter, one plastic, one capped stone, and 10 which are not marked or unreadable. Most are destination charms, e.g. Old Faithful, Cedar Point, Wall Drug, Jackson Hole, Nevada, Cypress Gardens, Silverton Colorado, etc...

This lovely, somewhat retro style, pin features flowers of blue rhinestones against leaves and stems of vermeil sterling. The gold is somewhat worn and scratched on the top surface. One rhinestone appears slightly chipped. Still a beautiful piece of this scarce designer jewelry.

Delicate sprays of rhinestone flowers emerge from this basket of clear rhinestones. The thin wire stems and small flowers give this pin a delightfully airy look. The stems are adorned with green rhinestone leaves and the flower are in multi colored rhinestones. Good quality Austrian rhinestones are set in an open backed frame. There is a mark but I have been unable to decipher it. The piece looks like the old Cechoslovakian workmanship. A truly lovely piece.
