Three perky bakelite birds sit atop a wooden branch in this vintage 1940's brooch. Their tails are loops of plastic coated string. This same pin is featured in the 2002 edition of Warman's Jewelry Identification and Price Guide (pg. 152) with a price of $1,375. Warman's attributes the brooch to Martha Sleeper, a hard to find designer.It measures 4" by 2". The birds are screwed onto the wooden branch from behind. A delightful piece for the advanced collector.

This unusual teapot originates from the Isle of Man. It is executed in a heavy clay body and decorated with majolica glazes. The form is of a sailor sitting on a coil of rope with two legs down and a third in an amazing acrobatic feat forming the teapot spout behind him. He holds a Union Jack which forms the teapot handle. His head is removable and forms the lid. There is a chip inside the rim and damage which has been amateurishly repaired on the top of the hat...

This fantastic rolling pin is stoneware with brown stripes on a white base. It reads Use Hyslop's Blended Bread Flour for perfect baking. Ovid Roller Mills. Ovid, Michigan.The handles are wood with a thin overlay over the wood handle which goes through the pin body. One handle shows quite some wear. There is one 1/4" chip on one end of the pin body. Possibly made by Redwing. A wonderful find for collector's of stoneware advertising articles.....even greater if you are from Ovid...

Designed in 1934 by W. J. Campbell this deco smoking stand/cocktail table was used in chrome and aluminum on the lounges of the 20th. century limited.The stand has it's original Climax decal and the removable tray has remnants of the same decal. The cocktail tray is removable and revolves. The ashtray has wide slots for cigars and a matchholder. The original finish shows quite a bit of wear. This classic 1940's clamper is made of a deep mottled green bakelite. It is hinged at the side with a riveted hinge (see enlargement 2) and is accented with two bands of decorated brass. The interior measurements are 2 1/4" by 1 1/4". It fits my wrist which measures 6 1/2" around perfectly. It is in excellent condition.

This lovely lady was produced in the 1950's by Inarco. She wears a high necked victorian dress in green with white collar and matching hat accented in the front with yellow roses. She is 7 1/4" tall and has her original foil label in addition to the Inarco globe mark and E5106. She sports her original pearl drop earrings. She has never been used as a planter and is clean and pristine with no cracks, chips, crazing or other flaws.
