This is a very nice boxed vintage travel chess set. The box is a burgundy color and looks like faux leather. The inside of the box has two compartments to hold the 32 chess pieces which are approximately 3/4" pegs. The pieces are made of plastic. The board is marked "Imp. Delcey, Dole. S0.0054." I do not know how old the set is, but it is in very good condition with only minor wear on the edges of the box.
