Vernon Kilns "Monterey" Dinnerware - 5 Pieces

This is a very pretty 5 piece setting of dinnerware in the Monterey pattern made by Vernon Kilns. These were produced between 1942 and 1954. They are marked on the back, "Hand Painted Underglazes, Vernon Kilns, Calif., Made in USA, Monterey". There is one 10-3/8" dinner plate in good condition with the exception of a small chip on the back. There are two 7-1/2" salad plates in good condition. One has a small stain on the front and the other has a couple of tiny chips, both are barely noticeable. Also included is a cup a saucer. The cup is in very good condition; however, the saucer has a very small hairline crack forming on the underside which is not visible on the front. I have tried to capture each piece in the photographs and have more photos available upon request. These aren't perfect but are very usable and would look very pretty on your dinner table!
