Figure of a woman, wearing collar, necklace, earrings, bracelets, anklets, and a dress. Carved from dark, grained wood. 9 1/2" tall, approx. 2 3/4" wide. Old mend at feet; old breaks at feet and hand; tab at top; small hole drilled in bottom. Stands independently. Probably an architectural element; from a Philippine estate.
No signs of paint. Good condition.

7 1/2" tall, 5" long. Black plaster? reindeer with red antlers, decorated with diamond-shaped gold-toned glass, white beads, purple and gold-toned jewelry findings. Although the left rear leg is a little shorter than the others, it stands well. No sign of chipping or other damage; good condition.

Wooden, probably hand carved, female form with hands joined at waist. The back is flat; there are holes in the "hat" and at the bottom, and a protruding tab at the top. There is glue along the crack in the upper back. Figure was forcibly removed from another surface of which black traces remain. Traces of red (and white? and black?) paint on figure. Two Philippine-made capiz-shell serving bowls, 10" diameter, 3" high. Especially suitable for chips, crackers, potpourri; will hold liquid. They are lightweight; they may be washed with soap & water (but not soaked); and the shells are translucent.

Eighteen small straw hats (7 yellow, 5 purple, 6 green), each with a coarse-weave (burlap?) three-petal flower decoration. They measure about 2 3/4" high and a few are sun-faded. These are from the Philippines and were in the same lot as the tiny feather hats (no. 55).

Five medallion-size hats made of paper, fabric, netting, and feathers, with loops for hanging, glued on stiff paper rondels, each marked "Philippines". Measurement approx. 2 1/2" diameter and an inch or so high. One of the longer feathers has snapped in the middle but is not detached.
