Germany close mesh wire tea strainer Has a wire handle with a small hook rest, bowl is 2 1/8 inch diameter, whole piece is 5 5/8 inches long, in excellent condition, marked:Made Western Germany.
It looks to me like silver plated wire

This scoop is beautiful. It is known to be made around the turn of the century, and is nickle plated with a wooden handle. The gear mechanism works as smoothly as the day it was made, and it is clearly marked on the shaft. This is truely one for the serious collector.
