Pyrex Hospitality Casserole 1961 promotion. This is a 2 quart casserole baking and serving dish made by the Corning Glass Company under their Pyrex Brand trade name. This dish was a promotional item put out for the holiday season in 1961. The dish is made of semi-opaque white glass with a fired-on exterior in deep green and a design of wheat stalks in gold metalic on either side. The lid is made of heavy clear glass. This family sized casserole measures 12 1/2 inches from handle to handle and 7 inches across and stands 3 3/4 inches high with its lid on. The lid can be placed upright as shown or inverted for stacking when stored. The bottom is marked "575-B 2 QT. PYREX MADE IN USA 8 ". The lid is marked, "PYREX 550C 18".
