Antique Venetian style multicolor glass flower bouquet,glass green leaves.Each glass flower leaf is worked onto a wire. The wires are then twisted into a stem. The stems are twisted into a bouquet. The bouquet stem is tightly wrapped around with silk threat.This type of Art glass originated in Bohemia (Jablonec region) in the 1800's and is extremely SCARCE - very little survived because of its fragility. Some flowers on this bouquet are probobly missing (I see a cut wire).No broken flowers.This is still a beautiful art glass .I beliee it is more then 100 years old.Measures about 18" long,8" wide. $160 plys shipping.
