Featured for your enjoyment is a very old stoneware bottle, AKA jug. This is a yellow clay, yelloware with a dark brown glaze. It does have a hairline going around the upper portion. As it is hard to see I am not certain just how far is runs. Still it is a wonderful looking piece and quite unusual. It stands 10” tall and is 3 1/2” wide with the little loop applied handle.
