What a wonderful antique cup and saucer set. made by Alfred Meakin, this is a blue transfer in
their Grange pattern. There is wear to the gold trim and a few crazing marks under the cup. The
blue has almost turned a deep navy almost black. Lovely set. Cup stands 2 3/4” tall by 4 5/8”
wide. Saucer is 6” wide.

Featured for your enjoyment is another wonderful item from Minnesota’s Attic. This old
covered sugar bowl is from W. H. Grindly of England. They manufactured earthenware. This is
their Printemps pattern in pink. Mark dates from 1936-1954. Being marked simply England I am
leaning towards the earlier date. The lad has a small repair which is not noticeable when on the
bowl. There are several shallow small chips under the lid rim and nick in the bowl neck where it
sits. No other damage noted. ...click for details

Featured for your enjoyment is another wonderful item from Minnesota’s Attic. This wonderful
art deco cup and saucer is marked with a mystery mark. It also has Ivory, England on the mark. It
has a very very art deco styling with the horizontal expanding ribs and the straight triangular
form and handle. The ivory color is trimmed in black with vibrant oranges scattered about. It
looks to me to be a Clarice Cliff but this I have not been able to confirm.

This does have some crazing inside. I think the lid has been repaired but am not totally certain. If

not been able to date it.
