This has the Imperial Eagle seated on a Swastika on the tip of the blade. It is marked near the handle Wilh Wagner, Solingen Merscheic. I do know you can still get Solingen scalpels but not with the other two names on the blade. The handle appears to be made of Ebony wood to me. It is in excellent condition and very sharp. Featured for your enjoyment is another wonderful item from Minnesota’s Attic. This is a wonderful old pipe from about the 1800’s. It is made of Boxwood which is beautifully worn from age to a striking patina. It has a raw boxwood stem topped with a carved horn mouthpiece. The windcap is nickel plated and does show wear. It is used and as I have no clue how to clean it properly, it is uncleaned. Wonderful old pipe in a very unusual shape. Reminds me of those old Sherlock Holms movies.
