Miniature Original Oil Painting Edna Lewis Studios

Featured for your enjoyment is a miniature oil painting signed by Edna Lewis. The back is original and intact. It has a foil tag from the Edna Lewis Studios in Baltimore Maryland. Also a tag stating it is an original in oil. From what I have found she is know for her silhouettes on glass. This may be an earlier work of hers. It is in the original wood and gesso frame which is completely gilded in gold. Might need a cleaning, the oil that is. Excellent condition. Measures 6 1/2” tall by 5 3/4” wide. Perfect for that little spot.
