Antique Hand Swivel Mirror Powder Box Sprague

Featured for your enjoyment is this very unique hand mirror and small powder box. The powder box is marked Wm. Sprague Clock Company New York. It has an inset porcelain button on top with a renaissance picture of a couple seated. It might have been silver plated at one time too. The hand mirror is on a tortes shell handle. It does not melt with heat, nor does it act like bakelite with 409. It also has a porcelain button in the back center with a more Greek Mythology picture. The mirror is not glass but a polished metal, Two scratches as seen on the face. The powder box is 1 1/2” tall by 3” wide. The mirror is 11 1/2” at tallest setting by 4” wide. The mirror can be swiveled into and direction including back on the handle.
