Majolica Milk Pitcher Jug Figural Spout

Featured for your enjoyment is a stunning old milk pitcher. The spout is shaped like a face on the end of a tree trunk. The rim has leaves and some sort of fruit. There appears to be a scene that is from the medieval period of men and women. They are outside a building, maybe a castle, and you can see two faces in a window peering out at them. The handle is a branch. It is in excellent condition with just all over fine crazing. Stands 7” tall by 5 3/4” wide. Marked in black Made in Japan.
