Dithridge Ray End Open Vanity Box

Featured for your enjoyment is a wonderful old vanity box. This is made by Dithridge Glass in New Brighten PA. This is their Ray End pattern from 1857 to 1901. I do not believe it had a lid. I could be wrong. It does have small nicks about the rim and I do show a larger chip. That chip measures about 1” long by 1/32” deep so not as bad as it appears. Lots of the gold highlights remain on this piece. It stands on for corner feet 2 1/8” tall by 10” long and 3 1/2” wide. Marked 37 on the bottom.
