Antique Noritake Covered Casserole Standish Pattern

Featured for your enjoyment is a stunning piece of Noritake China. This wonderful old porcelain covered casserole is in the Standish pattern. It has heavy gold trim with a green rope pattern with a gold wave just above it. There are swags of flowers on the sides and lid. In the center of the dish these swags connect to become a circle. The finial is capped like a mushroom cap with a reflecting raised pattern below it. The main body uses white and ivory. It has a single shallow chip on the inner rim of the bottom half. Not seen with the lid on and hard to notice with it off. It stands with lid 5 1/4” tall by 10 1/4” across the handles. This is a wonderful old piece dating to the early 1930’s.
