Lovely Brass Jewelry Box Sailboat Lid

Featured for your enjoyment is a lovely old jewelry casket or box. This has a stunning picture of a 4 masted sailing ship applied in brass on the lid. It was then painted in the blue and ivory you see. It is just beautiful! The lid does have the corners splitting a bit where they meet the bottom. Due to the thin brass lid and heavy applied decorations. It is simply marked Japan. Stands 2 1/4” tall by 6 1/2” long and 3 3/4” deep.
