Little Horse Figurine Marked Luther

Featured for your enjoyment is a lovely little horse figurine. The bottom is marked in blue, Japan. On the edge is Name: Luther July, 18 194?. He seems to be quite a well made replica of a horse. There are a few glaze skips on the base. He stands 4 1/2” tall by 5” long.
