Original 1868 Minnesota Land Grant

Featured for your enjoyment is an original land grant granted in 1868 by President Andrew Johnson, signed for Buchanan by the Secretary of Agriculture, Frank Cowan. It was granted for 160 acres to Thomas L Mason, George B. Sattenlee, and William E. Dodge, , trustees. and by them to Jason C Easton. It was in Winnebago City, Minnesota. This is page 840 of volume 40. For almost 150 year old document it is in wonderful condition. the seal is still intact although fades. The document had been folded and does show these fold lines. No rips or tears. Great piece of history! I have 4 pages granted to these men, pages 4,8,9 and 40 up for sale.
