The front inside cover has a narrative titled “The Negro Spiritual” by Professor Frederick Hall, Director of Music, Dillard University of New Orleans.

This is vintage sheet music. The cover shows that there are Two Negro Spirituals – “Leanin’ On De Lawd” and “Standin’ In De Need O’Prayer” – both arranged by William Reddick. These songs had been sung by Oscar Seagle. Even though the cover shows there are two songs, it appears that only the first, “Leanin’ On De Lawd” is inside, unless the two are some how incorporated. I do not read music, so I cannot tell. The music is complete and see no evidence that any pages are missing.
