This little handy devise is called a Mile-A-Meter. It was a complimentary item given to customers by Hardy’s Enco on N. E. 28th Street in Fort Worth, Texas. This is back in the days when the local gas station did it all – inspections, engine tune up, brake jobs and you could even get your car washed. Hardy’s sweetened the deal by giving Green Stamps.
