This is a very interesting book which was a program for a film that was released in 1954 titled "This Is Cinerama." This process was the beginning of motion pictures as we know them today. Cinerama’s three-eyed camera burst out of the flat frame that had enclosed conventional film story telling. This process gave the illusion of depth and the sense of movement that previous movies lacked.
