This 1975 issue of the Farmers' Almanac is full of wit and wisdom! The Farmers' Almanac was practically the Bible for farmers in the past - telling them the best times to plant crops, when to harvest and other tidbits.

This issue was a complimentary copy given by CF&I Steel Corporation of Pueblo, Colorado.

Included along with the many nice patterns are full illustrations and instructions on how to do these beautiful stitches. The book includes all the patterns in the two photos provided. There are also patterns for Boxing, a Horse Race, and Track & Field.

The book is in very good condition – inside and out...

This is a very nice cookbook titled "Flame Favorites - Tested Recipes, Cooking Charts, Equipment Facts." The cookbook was prepared by the Home Economics Department of Lone Star Gas Company. There is no copyright in the book, however, based on the graphics in the cookbook and other cookbooks purchased with this one, I believe it to be from the 1950's.

The cookbook starts out with the Definitions of Cookery Processes and has a nice chart of Measures and Equivalents...

This is a nice 1969 instruction booklet for knit fashions. It includes instructions for a sleeveless cable cardigan, tunic vest, long pullover, Beret and more.

The booklet includes 21 pages of instructions. It is in good condition with some minor wear to the outer cover. There is one small tear on the front, upper left corner...

This book is titled "Flower Arranging – A Fascinating Hobby – Volume 2" by Laura Lee Burroughs. The Coca-Cola Company would give out these books as complimentary gifts to customers. The copyright is 1941.

The book is full of ideas for flower arrangements for all types of occasions. The back pages include several pictures showing different ways to display Coca-Cola at parties and events.

The book is in good condition – inside and out...

This is a nice booklet of cross stitch patterns titled "Flowers From Our House To Yours." The designs are by Jeanne Bowers and Janet Martin. Green Apple Company of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, published the book that has a 1978 copyright.

Some of the patterns include Geranium, Strawberry Vine, Gloxinia, Nasturtium, Strawberry Alphabet, Repeating Elephant, and more. Some of the patterns are for repeating on items such as a bell pull, skirt insert and luggage straps...

This is a music book titled "Folksong Festival – 47 Favorites to Play and Sing" selected and edited by Irwin Silber. Carla Bley arranged the songs for Piano and Guitar. The nice illustrations are by Tom Eaton. The original copyright is 1967...
