This listing is for two very nice art books published by Walter T. Foster. The first book is titled “Painting Water and Weather” by Charles L. Cochrane. The second book is titled “How To Paint Beautiful Landscapes & Seascapes 2” by Anton Gutknecht. There are not copyright dates printed in the books, however, I believe both are from the late 1970’s or 1980’s. Both books include many color paintings and step-by-step instructions.

This book is a very unusual find. It is an auction catalog of items belonging to Karl Freund Arts, Inc. and other owners that were to be auctioned on February 19, 1938. The title of the auction book is "Art For The Garden." American Art Association – Anderson Galleries, Inc. of New York published the book and I am guessing were also handling the auction of these items.

This book is truly a glimpse of mid-1990’s garden art...

I plea ignorance when it comes to modern art! Having said that, this is a nice 1966 issue of Artforum Magazine that I am sure a real art lover can and will appreciate.

I love this little book published by P. F. Volland & Company, Chicago, in 1913. The title is A Thought Of You and was written by Edwin Osgood Grover.

Though small, this book says a lot in very few pages. Each page tells of someone thinking of another in different situations.

This book from Dover Needlework Series is full of motifs for your many projects. The title of the book is "A Treasury of Charted Designs For Needleworkers." The book is by Georgia L. Gorham and Jeanne M. Warth. It includes 141 Motifs including Birds, Flowers, Animals, Toys, and more. The copyright is 1977.

The designs vary in size but most are approximately +/- 4x4" in size.

This is a First Edition – First Printing of a music book titled “A Treasury Of Stephen Foster.” Deems Taylor wrote the Forward in the book and the historical notes are by John Tasker Howard. This is a vintage book titled “A Treatise on Instrumentation – A Practical Guide to Orchestration” by E. Prout. Theodore Presser Company of Philadelphia published the book. I could not locate a copyright date, however, it appears to be very old and I estimate it was published pre-1940.

This little book is only 5" x 4", but is filled with a lot of Baseball facts. The illustrations are by Paul Frame. It has a copyright of 1979.
