This listing is for two very nice art books published by Walter T. Foster. The first book is titled “Painting Water and Weather” by Charles L. Cochrane. The second book is titled “How To Paint Beautiful Landscapes & Seascapes 2” by Anton Gutknecht. There are not copyright dates printed in the books, however, I believe both are from the late 1970’s or 1980’s. Both books include many color paintings and step-by-step instructions.

This is a nice piece of sheet music titled “The Battle of Waterloo” is key of D by G. Anderson. There is no copyright date, but based on the sample songs on the back cover it is Circa 1920’s. The music is in very good condition. The cover has some minor wear to the edges and corners. The upper right corner has a fracture. The interior pages are clean with no writing or dog-ears.

The music is in very good condition. The cover has some minor wear to the edges and corners. The outer right edge of the cover has a couple of small tears. Also, there is a name and rubber stamp on the front cover – the one-time owner of this music...

This book is a very unusual find. It is an auction catalog of items belonging to Karl Freund Arts, Inc. and other owners that were to be auctioned on February 19, 1938. The title of the auction book is "Art For The Garden." American Art Association – Anderson Galleries, Inc. of New York published the book and I am guessing were also handling the auction of these items.

This book is truly a glimpse of mid-1990’s garden art...

This vintage postcard shows a view of Junipero Serra in Presidio Park in the city of San Diego, California. The beautiful building and the Presidio Park were a gift to San Diego from Mr. George Marston, a leading citizen and pioneer merchant.

There is no date on the postcard, however, I am guessing it is pre-1950’s.

This vintage postcard shows a view of "Black Gold" gushing from one of the many oil gushers of the rich Odessa, Texas, Oil Fields. Johnson News Agency of Big Spring, Texas, published the postcard. There is no date on the postcard, but it appears to be very old.

The postcard is in good condition with some minor wear to the corners and edges. There is a horizontal fracture across the card about 2/3’s of the way down. The back is used, but has darkened some due to age.

This is a beautiful vintage book titled "The How and Why of Chinese Painting" by Diana Kan. This is from the Art-in-Practice Series. Van Nostrand Reinhold Company published the book that has a copyright of 1974. The lovely photographs are by Sing-Si Schwartz.

A nice addition to the book is the last several pages. These show illustrations on how to write many words in Chinese.
