This a complimentary booklet titled "Housekeeping Hints by Duraclean" with a 1964 copyright. The company’s full name is Duraclean Carpet Cleaners located in Deerfield, Illinois.

The book is full of tips on how to remove stains from carpet, care of flowers and house plants, care of silver and other metals, and work-savers in the kitchen.

The book is in good condition – inside and out. There some minor surface wear to the upper right corner of the cover...

This is a vintage travel brochure for the Fujiya Hotel and Fuji-Hakone National Park in Japan. Sennosuke Yamaguchi founded the Hotel in 1828 in the Fuji-Hakone National Park.

There are not dates on the brochure, but it looks quiet old – I’m guessing 1950’s or before. Inside the brochure, I found luggage tag from the Lake Hakone Hotel. I am including it with the brochure...

The first side is an advertisement for Zenith All-Transistor Trans-Oceanic Radio. This baby would set you back $250.00 and claimed to be the smallest and lightest radio ever made. If memory serves me right, they were still the size of a medium sized ice-chest!

The reverse side is an advertisement for Fonografs by Webcor. This stereo only costs $475.00 and came in a nice French Provincial cabinet...

The first side is an advertisement for the Vista-Dome California Zephyr. The photo shows a view of the Colorado Rockies. What a way to travel!

The reverse side is a grouping of ads for Italy Tours, Colorfax Laboratories, Your Geographics Books by The Albrecht Company, and Bauer Electro-Master 8mm movie camera.

This is a very cute advertisement for Smith-Corona Typewriters - "The world's finest and fastest portable."

The ad features a Santa jack-in-the-box holding a nice manual Smith-Corona Typewriter. There were five models available and could be purchased for as little as $1.25 a week.

Smith-Corona was located in Syracuse, New York, with factories also located in Toronto, Brussels and Johannesburg.

The page is in good condition with some minor wear to edges...

Snap! Crackle! Pop! We all recognize that as the sound of Kellogg's Rice Krispies.

This is a very nice 1955 advertisement for Rice Krispies. It shows a young girl leaning over her bowl of cereal saying, "Hello Snap! Hello Crackle! Hello Pop!" She has made a nice stick-figure man with blueberries in bowl of cereal.

The ad is in very good condition. There is some minor wear on the edge where the page was removed from the magazine. The upper right corner has a very tiny dog-ear. The lower...

This advertising duo comes from a March 1944 National Geographic Magazine.

The first side is an advertisement for Union Pacific Railroad. It discusses the important job the railroad was doing in transporting troops and war materials and how that had added to the dispatcher's responsibilities - a man with a "thousand track" mind. The advertisement also adds a note to "Help the war effort by not dealing with black markets nor paying over-ceiling prices."
