This vintage postcard shows a lovely picture of The Alamo located in San Antonio, Texas. The copyright is by H. L. Summerville.

There is no date on the postcard. The numbers "67" are on the right end of the title of postcard. This could stand for 1967, however, the postcard looks older than that to me.

This is a very unusual postcard – both in the size and the way it was made. The front side of the postcard shows a hillbilly woman with her foot on the head of a submissive hillbilly man. The quote states, "You’re Always On My Mind."

This is a very old picture postcard. It shows a young woman – all dressed up on his Sunday best – an ankle length dress. The woman has accessorized with a wide-brim hat, gloves and a long string of beads.

It was a common practice for people to have photographs of themselves made into postcards they could send to friends and loved ones.

The back side of the postcard is divided for a message and an address, as well as, a place for the postage stamp. The card was never used....

This is a nice postcard set from Waco, Texas, just South of where I live. It is from 1960 and includes 14 views of the sites in Waco.

Some of the sites and landmarks include Tidwell Bible Building at Baylor University, Cameron Park, Potts Highway Interchange and more.

Overall, the set is in good condition. The colors are still bright. There are no tears, however, the card with the split in it for the closure has a bend all the way across it - probably weakened by the cut across the majori...

This adorable postcard was intended as a Christmas wish, however, the young sender mailed it to late. The postmark is dated January 2, 1916, from Colorado.

The card reads:

A Christmas Wish. At the home table on this day, How well I'd like to be, So when you carve the turkey, Just eat a slice for me.

The card has darkened some with age and the upper right corner has a small bend. The back side has a stain underneath the nice 1 cent stamp.

Though not in mint condition, it is remarkable ...
