This is a nice set of True Color Views Postcards of San Francisco. The outer cardboard folder shows the original package had 20 postcards, however, there are only 14 cards left. The rest were probably mailed to friends and family during this vacation trip.

Each postcard is a beautiful high gloss photo of the sites and landmarks in San Francisco...

These three cute Christmas cards were never sent. They were printed by Gibson Lines of Cincinnati and New York.

The first card shows a cute Dutch girl who has slipped on the ice, leaving her packages scattered all over the ice. The simple message, "Mine Christmas Vishes!"

The second card shows a happy Dutch boy carrying armloads of packages and reads, "A cholly goot vish for Xmas."

The third card shows a Dutch boy with a holiday package. A shy girl anticipates the gift is for her...

This is a set of two vintage cards – the type one might get at carnival fortune teller. The first is palm reading card. Surely the picture of "Your Future Husband" is meant for humor! The second describes "Your Ideal Love Mate" – a glorified lover – with a dash of Gable.

These are all printed on a thick card stock. A movie memorabilia collector previously owned both of these cards. The cards were both printed by Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago...

This is a very nice Postcard Booklet featuring twelve postcards of the Ming Tombs in Peking. Peking Publishing House published the full color cards. There is no copyright listed.

Each page in the book has a postcard that can be removed by a perforated line that connects it to a smaller picture on the right side of the page...

This is a great postcard book of Black Hills, South Dakota - The Mountain Vacation Land. The lower right hand corner has "Mount Rushmore Memorial". The front also says "Chamber of Commerce, Rapid City, S.D." so maybe this was a tourist handout at the time.

Hard to believe the postage was only 1 1/2? to send a group of postcards. Note the very elegant handwriting on the address...

This lovely, vintage postcard shows the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington, Virginia. The Tomb was completed in 1931. It has a white marble sarcophagus over the grave with the inscription, "Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to God." Thomas Hudson Jones of New York was the sculptor and Lorimer Rich of New York was the architect.

The front side of the postcard is in good condition with some minor wear to the edges and corners...

I love this postcard! It shows a down-on-his-luck fellow looking up at a bird in the nearby tree. As you can see, the little bird has made a deposit on the man’s hat. Realizing that perhaps he has not received the same treatment as one in a better financial situation tells the birdie, "And for the rich you sing!"

The only identifying marks on the postcard are the number 784 in the upper right corner and the number 78971 in the lower left corner...

This is a very cute vintage postcard by the British artist, Fred Spurgin. It has a 1914 Michigan postmark and is from the Quaint Kid Series.

The postcard shows a little girl dressing. When she notices her black kitten coming up the stairs, she scolds, "Don’t come up - - I’m dressing."

The postcard is in good condition considering it is 90 years old. There is some wear to edges and corners...

This is a very nice signed postcard by Bernhardt Wall (1872-1956). The postcard was printed by the Gibson Art Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.

A picture is worth a thousand words! The young girl has the dreamy eyes of a girl in love. The young man looks down at her wearily – knowing his fate is sealed...

This is a nice vintage postcard to Elizabeth from her Sunday School Class telling her she was missed. The card has a very nice color graphic of young people walking up a stairway into the church.

The postmark is from Paducah, Kentucky, and has a date of October 25, 1939. The one cent stamp used for postage is in very good condition.

The postcard is in very good condition with very light wear to the corners. The colors on the graphic is still bright and colorful...

This listing is for three vintage New York postcards.

The first card has a banner that says "Greetings from New York City." On one side of the card is the Empire State Building - the other has the Statue of Liberty.

The second card has a very nice view at dusk of the Empire State Building and the surrounding city.

The third card is a night-time view from Brooklyn showing the famous towers of Wall Street.

All three cards were made by Dexter Press, Inc., West Nyack, New York...

These two postcards are from Ghost Town, Knott's Berry Place, Buena Park, California. One shows a gravesite on Main Street - the other is titled "The Gamblers."

Both cards have a 1946 copyright by Paul V. Klieben.

"The Gamblers" is one of the attractions at Ghost Town. It is a wood carving by the famous Andy Anderson. Take a minute to read the tombstone of Deadwood Dick (see photo) for a chuckle.
