Ahh - This booklet of embroidery patterns takes me back to my youth in the 1970's - a time when bright colors were a must! It was a time when a guy could wear a brightly embroidered shirt and NOT get beat up for it!

This 1975 booklet of embroidery patterns is from Coats & Clarks. It is full of "signs of the times" when flower power was the "in" thing.

The large iron-on pattern page is still intact and doesn"t look as if it has ever been used...

This is a very nice vintage crochet instruction booklet from the Spool Cotton Company from 1935. Instructions are included for many beautiful pieces such as doilies, table covers, placemats, chair covers and more. There are also instructions for tassels, cords and fan tie-backs.

Considering the age of the booklet, it is in very good condition. The outer cover shows some signs of wear - especially on the binding edge...

This 1936 booklet is the third edition of the publication by the Spool Cotton Company. It is full of wonderful examples of crocheted items for the home. Absolutely beautiful table covers, chair protectors, placemats and more.

The booklet does show signs of wear both on the outer cover and the inside pages, however, the booklet is still well bound and is not coming apart. The binding edge has a tear on the lower bottom about 2" long. The booklet has been folded over in half at one time. Th...
