This vintage postcard shows a view of Texas’ Famous Alamo located in San Antonio, Texas. Weiner News Company of San Antonio, Texas, published the postcard.

There is no date on the postcard, however, but I believe it to be from the early 1960’s or before as there are no zip codes given with the publisher’s address.

The postcard is in good condition with some minor wear to the corners...

This is a 1971 Graduation Announcement from Carter Riverside High School in Fort Worth, Texas. The ceremony was held at the Convention Center Auditorium.

The announcement is in excellent condition. I had to darken the scanned copy in order to pick up the announcement details, however, it is a nice flat white in color.

This is a souvenir postcard that says, "Chinees Restaurant – Peking - Bovenzaal." It shows the inside of a restaurant in Amsterdam – Holland.

This is a nice travel postcard from Italy. The writer tells of their drive to Milan from Rome and mentions the nice hotel where she is staying.

The postcard is in good condition with two very nice Italian stamps on it in excellent condition. There is minor wear to the edges and corners. The postmarks are so heavy that they actually emboss the front side of the postcard...

This is a nice piece of Texas Memorabilia from Six Flags Over Texas. On one side is a picture of an old saloon in red and black with the words, "Crazy Horse Saloon." The other side has a picture of three Can-Can Girls with the words "Six Flags Over Texas" above it.

The jigger measures 2 1/4" tall. The mouth is 1 7/8" wide and the base is 1 1/4" across. There are no chips or cracks.

This is a very nice souvenir patch from New Paltz, New York. It shows some very nice machine embroidery work and says, "Mohonk Mountain House." Albert and Alfred Smiley built the Mohonk Mountain House in 1869. This 251-room Victorian Castle is the oldest family-owned resort in America.

The patch is "like new" in its package - still attached to its original hang-tag...

This is a humorous postcard from the state of Arizona. A parched donkey walks across the desert in the blistering sun. A buzzard sits atop a sign showing the donkey that he is 50 miles from town; 30 miles from water; and 2 feet from hell! The bottom of the post card says, "Howdy From The Middle Of Nowhere!"

The artist for the postcard is Bob Pettey.

This is a nice vintage postcard from 1939. The card shows a young child (the boss) crying at the mention of the trip ending and going home. The artwork is by D. Tempest.

The back side of the card is addressed to Lura Bess of Fort Worth, Texas, from Bob. The card is postmarked from Galveston, Texas, with a date of June 24, 1939. The is a nice canceled one cent stamp still attached to the postcard.
