This vintage postcard shows Mammoth Rock Formation along the New Mexico/Arizona state line. These formations can be seen along Highway 66 for miles east and west of Lupton, Arizona.

There is no date on the postcard, however, from research using the coded number in the postage stamp area, I have determined this card is from 1939.

This vintage postcard shows the miniature train at Turner Falls in Oklahoma. The train traveled 1 3/4 miles in a trip from the Youth Center to the Falls. The train was built, owned and operated by Sonny Tuttle.

There is no date on the postcard, however, from research and the automobile in the background, I believe the card is from the 1950’s.

The headline reads, "Hail, Liberty! A Birthday Party Album." The cover features the Statue of Liberty amid the 4th of July fireworks. Lady Liberty was celebrating her 100th birthday. Though her birthday was not until October, 1986, the celebration was scheduled to take place during the July 4th holiday.

This is a 1971 Graduation Announcement from Carter Riverside High School in Fort Worth, Texas. The ceremony was held at the Convention Center Auditorium.

The announcement is in excellent condition. I had to darken the scanned copy in order to pick up the announcement details, however, it is a nice flat white in color.

This is a humorous postcard from the state of Arizona. A parched donkey walks across the desert in the blistering sun. A buzzard sits atop a sign showing the donkey that he is 50 miles from town; 30 miles from water; and 2 feet from hell! The bottom of the post card says, "Howdy From The Middle Of Nowhere!"

The artist for the postcard is Bob Pettey.

his vintage postcard shows a view a Tobacco Plantation in Havana, Cuba.

The back side of the card says, "Republica de Cuba." The postcard is postmarked in Havana, Cuba, with a date of July 11, 1947. There is a nice canceled Cuban stamp still attached to the postcard.

The card is to Florence in Fort Worth, Texas, from Marjorie telling of their good time in Havana – hard on ole folks!
