This brochure came from Frank Kent Cadillac, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas. The company name and address is printed on the back cover.

This is a 1984 book titled "Chart No. 1 – United States of America – Nautical Chart – Symbols and Abbreviations." The book was published by the Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Washington D.C.

The book is a wealth of information – full of details and charts. I know little about nautical aspects. Please see the photo for a the Table of Contents.

The book is in very good condition – inside and out...

This item is a 1982 Bell Helicopter Calendar. Bell Helicopter is a Division of Textron, Inc. The calendar includes some impressive pictures of helicopters including the Model 406 AHIP, Model XV-15, Model AH-1S and others. All pictures are on location with some beautiful scenery.

The calendar is in excellent condition with some very minor wear to the edges of the cover...

This vintage postcard shows a great view of the Santa Fe "Super Chief." J. R. Willis of Albuquerque, New Mexico, distributed this postcard.

There is no date on the postcard, however, from the coded number in the postage stamp area, I have determined this postcard is from 1939.

This is a very nice piece of railroad memorabilia!

This is a nice vintage advertisement from May, 1929, for Santa Fe Railroad. The three children looking out the train window saying, “Gee! We are going to see real, live Indians!” says it all!

The reverse side features advertising for the General Motors Proving Ground. Includes a couple of pictures of testing in progress.

This is such a cool advertisement dated April, 1945, for New York Central System Railroad. The ad shows a cross-section of the train’s cars and states, " Who’s Who on the ‘Century" . . . calling the roll aboard the flagship of New York Central’s wartime fleet." These trains were used to move war traffic.

The reverse side features advertising for Matson Lines to Hawaii and the South Pacific. "Delights to come."

The page measures 6 7/8" x 10"...

This is an advertisement from May, 1948, for S.P. – Southern Pacific Railroad. "On your S.P. Trip to California – See twice as much for the same rail fare." The ad features a nice map of the four scenic routes.

The upper portion of the reverse side is a nice advertisement for Bendix Radio, a Division of Bendix Aviation Corporation...

This is a vintage postcard showing the Howard Platt Gardens, Union Pacific Depot in Boise, Idaho. It is an air photo by Wesley Andrews.

The postcard is in good condition with some wear to the edges and corners. It has a linen finish and has a postmark from Boise, Idaho, dated 1942. The card is addressed to Fort Worth, Texas. The back has a very nice one cent stamp in good condition. The postcard has darkened some from age.

This is a nice vintage advertisement dated April, 1945, for Studebaker – Wartime Builder of Wright Cyclone Engines for Boeing Flying Fortress. The end of World War II was still several months away, so all major companies were supporting the war – making parts for planes and other equipment. The ad features nice artwork by Frederic Tellander (1878-1977).

This is a nice vintage advertisement dated April, 1945, for Greyhound Bus. The end of World War II was still a few months away. The message: "Highways will be Happy ways again – if we keep faith in our fighting men!" Note the German helmet tied to the returning soldier’s backpack.
