This is a Christmas Postcard – send Heartiest Good Wishes!

This card is unused and in good condition. The corners show a small amount of wear. No actual date on this postcard. It was printed by Popular Products of Chicago, Illinois. It is probably a reprint of a vintage postcard since there is a zip code by the manufacture’s city.

In the 1980's, fashion became a very important factor as women began to gain more power positions in the business world. And thus the female "power suit" became the fashion statement of the decade.

This advertising duo comes from a September 1958 National Geographic Magazine.

The first side is an advertisement for Zenith All-Transistor Trans-Oceanic Radio. This baby would set you back $250.00 and claimed to be the smallest and lightest radio ever made. If memory serves me right, they were still the size of a medium sized ice-chest!

The reverse side is an advertisement for Fonografs by Webcor. This stereo only costs $475.00 and came in a nice French Provincial cabinet.

I love this postcard! It shows a down-on-his-luck fellow looking up at a bird in the nearby tree. As you can see, the little bird has made a deposit on the man’s hat. Realizing that perhaps he has not received the same treatment as one in a better financial situation tells the birdie, "And for the rich you sing!"

The only identifying marks on the postcard are the number 784 in the upper right corner and the number 78971 in the lower left corner. The card has a linen finish and was ma...
