This is a nice vintage copy of Holiday Magazine dated March, 1958. There are many interesting articles and advertisements from that year!

My fellow Texans might enjoy the article by Robert Penn Warren titled "How Texas Won Her Freedom." It is the story of Sam Houston and his incredible rout of the Mexican Army in the Battle of San Jacinto.

"New Orleans Society" tells of the social season which is concentrated into carnival time and the feverish activities of choosing its queen...

This 1936 booklet is the third edition of the publication by the Spool Cotton Company. It is full of wonderful examples of crocheted items for the home. Absolutely beautiful table covers, chair protectors, placemats and more.

The booklet does show signs of wear both on the outer cover and the inside pages, however, the booklet is still well bound and is not coming apart. The binding edge has a tear on the lower bottom about 2" long. The booklet has been folded over in half at one time...

This is a nice piece of sheet music titled "Hopscotch" by Earl Ricker. It has a 1963 copyright and was published by Pro Art Publications, Inc., of Westbury, New York.

The interior states, "Hopscotch is an elementary piece which provides staccato attack and introduces the rest on the strong beat." I don"t have a clue what that means!

This music is a fold over booklet with the music on the two interior sides. There are no words included.

This is a really nice jigger or shot glass from the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. It is clear glass with very nice graphics of a Rocket and an Astronaut in metallic gold and black.

The words "Johnson Space Center - Houston, Texas" are on the upper portion of the jigger. One side has 1/2 oz. and 1 oz. markings.

The jigger measures 2 3/8" tall. The mouth is 1 7/8" wide and the base is 1 1/4" across...

This advertising duo comes from a September 1958 National Geographic Magazine.

This is a very nice jigger or shot glass from Las Vegas, Nevada. It is clear glass with black and metallic gold lettering with the names of a lot of the major casinos in Sin City.

Some of the names listed: Dunes, Sahara, Tropicana, Landmark, Stardust, Sands, Las Vegas Hilton, Circus Circus, and many more.

This is a nice piece of Las Vegas memorabilia!

This little book is a former school library book published by G. P. Putnam"s Sons of New York. It is titled, "Let's Go To a Police Station" with a copyright of 1957.
