This is a vintage humorous postcard that states, "Reason? There’s no reason – it’s company policy."

The postcard is to Mary in Fort Worth, Texas, from Melba. Melba is recounting all the places she has been and is yet to be. I got a chuckle when she tells how there was competition for their supper with a bear in Yellowstone Park – so they left!

The postcard is in good condition with some minor wear to the corners. The back is postmarked July 2, 1958...

This is a very nice postcard featuring the 1974 Cadillac – dark blue in color.

The back side has the Cadillac logo and "Cadillac for 1974" written on it.

The postcard is in very good condition and is unused. There is some minor wear to the corners. The back side has one very small, light stain just right of the center line at the top.

This photograph has almost a haunting feel to it! It shows a man sitting on top of filled bags loaded onto a four-wheel wagon. The wagon is being pulled by a camel in Karachi, Pakistan.

In the bottom margin, it says, "103. – Camel Cart – Karachi (Pak.)

Though this item is the same size as a postcard, the back side is blank. Except for the information printed at the bottom, it looks just like a photograph and has a gloss finish to the surface. It appears to be very old.

This is such a nice vintage advertisement dated April, 1945, for Bell Telephone Systems. The message, "If only swtichboards grew on trees!" It shows a U. S. Marine setting up a telephone swtichboard n an island "somewhere in the Pacific."

This type of advertising was common during World War II – a way for businesses to advertise and still support the troops!

This is such a nice vintage advertisement dated April, 1945, for Hamilton Watch Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. World War II was still raging when this ad was printed. The message if from Sally, a graduating Senior, telling her parents that even though she has always wanted a watch – to wait until later to get her one. Hamilton was using its factories to make navigating timepieces used in the War effort.
