This is a nice little book with a copyright of 1951, however, this is a 1952 printing that has been revised and enlarged. The work "parakeet" is spelled with two "r's" throughout the book, so I have used the word exactly as it is in the book.
The book is 40 pages of everything you need to know to train and take care of your parrakeet. Some of the chapters are The Budgie as a Pet, Teaching To Talk, Nest Boxes, Bathing and more.

This is a very nice map of the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area. It was distributed by Gulf Service Stations whose motto was "Stop At The Sign Of The Orange Disc."
These is no date on the map, however, from the graphics & products listed, I believe it to be from the late 1930's or 1940's. It was bundled with the Washington D.C. tour book (my item Book210) which has a date of 1933. The copyright was by Rand McNally & Company.
