This is a nice piece of vintage Washington D.C. memorabilia with a 1933 copyright. This is the second printing dated 1934. The booklet is titled "What To See?" In Washington - A Concise Guide To The National Capital With Map. The booklet is by Mary O. Sumner and was published by L. G. Kelly Printing Company.

The first page gives "grateful acknowledgment" to: Lt. Col. Stuart C. Godfrey, Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army, for the cover illustration designed for the Guide Book; Aeronautical Engineering Company of Washington D.C., for the map drawn & furnished for the booklet; Raleigh Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue for the loan of cuts of buildings; and The Greater National Capital Committee for the loan of cuts of buildings.

You'll enjoy many facts about our Nation's Capital and the wonderful, vintage pictures included in the guide book. The last several pages have some very nostalgic advertisements for local businesses such as The Mayflower Hotel, Woodward & Lothrop Department Store, The Willard Hotel, The Riggs National Bank, and more. A very nice map of the area is included in the center of the book.

The guide book is in good condition with some minor wear to the outer cover, edges, and corners. The interior pages are exceptionally clean considering this book is 70 years old. There is some slight rippling on the bottom of some of the back pages where they have been wet at one time. This is very minor and there are not water stains.

This a great piece of Washington D.C. memorabilia for a collector!
