1955 Kellogg's Corn Flakes Ad - Arthur Godfrey
for item Ad35
This is a very nice two page Kellogg's Corn Flakes advertisement from a 1955 magazine. Look carefully and you will see one of the pictures features Arthur Godfrey. Arthur Godfrey had one of the top rated CBS shows in the 1950's called "Arthur Godfrey and Friends."
The back side of the left side of the Kellogg's ad, there is a very nice full page Eastman Kodak Company advertisement. It features the Kodak Pony Camera. The Pony Camera was a 35mm color-slide camera that could be purchased for only $33.75.
The two page ad is in very good condition. The two pages have been separated (not connected). There is some wear and slightly ragged edges where the pages were removed from the magazine. There is a slight half-round fracture on the upper margin of both pages - maybe a paper clip mark. The outer edges have turned slightly darker due to age. The left page has a 1/2" tear on the center bottom margin. The pages measure approximately 10x14" in size.
This advertisement would look great matted and framed!
