This is a nice soft cover booklet featuring artwork at the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. The occasion of this exhibition wass the opening of the west wing of the museum, the second addition to the original building constructed in 1961. The staff selected an exhibition to illustrate the range of interest and the holdings of the museum, and has summarized the sixteen years, 1961-1977.
The book includes photos of Amon G. Carter with Will Rogers, Georgia O"Keeffe, author James Thomas Flexner, silversmith Charles Long and others. It also includes a floor plan of the museum, as well as, many photo of artwork that was on exhibit.
This is a nice piece of Fort Worth memorabilia!
The book has 47 pages and measures 9x9". It is in excellent condition - inside and out. The interior pages are "like new" clean - no writing or dog-ears. The book was printed in 1977.
