I plea ignorance when it comes to modern art! Having said that, this is a nice 1966 issue of Artforum Magazine that I am sure a real art lover can and will appreciate.The cover is a painting my Henri Matisse titled "Interior". Nancy Marmer has a nice article titled "Matisse and the Strategy of Decoration". Fans of Peter Stroud will enjoy the interview by John Coplans. Artwork from many galleries are shown in the magazine. There are many nice advertisements featuring some of the top galleries during the 60"s. The magazine is in good condition. There is some very minor wear to the edges. The binding edge has a tear almost half way up the edge where the cover bends. The is also a small piece of the cover missing just to the left the person"s head on the cover.
