Bell Telephone System / Eastman Kodak Company Ad
for item Ad15
This advertising duo comes from a September 1958 National Geographic Magazine.
The first side is an advertisement for Bell Telephone System. The message here is "It"s fun to phone". The ad invites you to take a break by making a phone call after a hectic day of washing dishes, making beds and other household chores. Of course, in 1958, how could we have ever imagined tele-marketers, caller I.D., call forwarding and other technologies that would have seemed like science-fiction back then. I don"t look at all as relaxed when on the telephone as the lady in this advertisement!
The reverse side is an advertisement for Eastman Kodak Company and features the new Cavalcade Projector. The big selling feature: it will change slides all by itself!
The page measures 6 7/8" x 10". It is in very good condition and ready for matting and framing - no rips or tears other than the binding edge where the page was removed from the binding staples. The page could also be laminated so both sides can be enjoyed.
