Coats & Clark's Book #244 - Embroidery - Copyright 1975

Ahh - This booklet of embroidery patterns takes me back to my youth in the 1970's - a time when bright colors were a must! It was a time when a guy could wear a brightly embroidered shirt and NOT get beat up for it!
This 1975 booklet of embroidery patterns is from Coats & Clarks. It is full of "signs of the times" when flower power was the "in" thing.
The large iron-on pattern page is still intact and doesn"t look as if it has ever been used. The ink has faded onto other portions of the pattern paper and on some of the interior pages of the book. I wouldn"t recommend ironing this page onto your fabric, but it could be traced or copied by some other means.
The outside cover of the booklet is in good condition. The front cover has a piece of the surface pulled off as if a tag or sticker was removed. The price in the upper right corner has been marked out. The back cover has a crease the full length of the booklet about 1/2" from the binding edge.
The interior pages are clean - no writing or dog-ears - but do have the blue stains from the pattern sheet bleeding onto them.
If you are a former flower child, you'll enjoy using these retro pattern now that flower power is back in style!
