This cookbook was sponsored by Harris Hospital Auxiliary. The proceeds were to benefit the Junior Volunteer Program. The recipes were submitted by members of the "Harris Family" (i.e., Auxilians (spelled that way in the notes), Employees, & Volunteers). Harris Methodist Hospital is one of the most well-known hospitals in the Fort Worth, Texas, area.Each section is divided by a cheery, pink card stock divider. There are many sections including appetizers, beverages, salads, meats, and more. Some of the wonderful recipes included: Party Mix, Cheese Sausage Balls, Bavarian Salad, Beef-Mushroom Casserole, Tuna Casserole, Banana Muffins, Chocolate Angel Pie, Vanilla Wafer Cake, Pecan Pralines, and more. Because of the way the book is bound, there is wear on the outer cover. The upper left corner of the front cover has been dog-eared. There is a written "z" in the lower right corner and a very small stain. The interior is very clean - no writing or tears. Some of the pages edges show some wear - again because of the way the book was bound. This is a nice piece of memorabilia for a Fort Worth resident or an employee of Harris Hospital!
