This is very impressive diploma once you discover that it was issued for completion of elementary school. The diploma is for Lucile Fields and was issued May 19, 1932, in Prairie View, Oklahoma - Seminole County. Jack Cannon was the County Superintendent and Orion Jennings was the teacher. There is a nice Oklahoma State Seal dated 1907 on the back side of the diploma. The diploma is secured in an outer card-stock, brown folder by brown cord. The diploma is tri-folded inside with some minor wear to the outer edge. There are no tears or dog-ears. The is a stain on the outer back side of the diploma, but it does not bleed through to the front side. This item is a nice piece of nostalgia or might make a nice memorabilia gift for someone from Prairie View!
