I am sure the feature article in this issue of Esquire Magazine will raise eyebrows. The main title is, "The Use and Abuse of Billy Graham." Over a picture of Graham and his associates praying after a session with President Truman is the statement, "After an unpromising White House meeting, Truman ordered that Graham not be admitted anywhere near his vicinity ever again." There are many pictures in this article of Graham with President Johnson, Presidenet Nixon and more. A Nixon aide is quoted, "It"s okay to lie to another politician, but you just don"t lie to Billy Graham. That"s going too far!" It has been 24 years since this article was written, so it could be very thought provoking to read! On the lighter side is The Gentleman"s Paris with many nice pictures. It states, "To be comme il faut - the right sort - one must have the right birth, the right breeding, and the right behavior." In Case Of Survival (fiction by T. Gertler) - The consequences of regarding a premonition - got my attention. See the latest (in 1979) western wear in Riding The Range With The Urban Cowboy. Still up for debate: Benching Bad Judges - Should it be easier than it is to remove Federal Judges. This article is asking that question almost a quarter of a century ago and the debate goes on. The magazine has nice vintage advertisements, as well. The magazine is in very good condition - inside and out. The back cover has ink smudges from newspaper type on it. The interior is very clean - no writing or dog-ears. There is the slight musty smell magazines have after being in storage for many years.
